A mid-19th century French centre table

A charming and finely-proportioned mid-19th century French centre table with a single drawer to the frieze. Decorated with marquetry and cross-banding comprising Satinwood, Purpleheart, Harewood, Box and Ebony to create an oval panel to the top depicting a musical score amid foliage, and shaded Vitruvian scrolls to the frieze. Gilt metal mounts to the top of the legs and feet complete this exemplary piece. 60 cm wide, 38 cm deep, 73 cm high.
