A pair of most glamorous and striking black glass centre, side or coffee tables with silver plated bronze legs and mounts in the French Japonaise manner of the Art Deco period, circa 1927-1933. Each piece of metal-ware is numbered indicating custom manufacture, but not signed. However companionable pieces can be seen in the work of Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann, Rene Herbst, Jean Perzel and they would not have been out of place in the renowned Galerie Barbazanges.
