A charming George II period mahogany footstool in the Chinoiserie manner to designs published by Thomas Chippendale and Ince and Mayhew.
The frame decorated with blind fret* supported on four scroll feet,** re-upholstered and covered in antique silk fabric in the traditional manner. c.1755.
