Every item of stock carries an absolute guarantee of authenticity and after-sales advice on maintenance and care is available free of charge.


Backed by more than a century’s experience, our Valuation Department is well equipped to appraise for all purposes including probate, insurance and family division of single items of furniture and works of art as well as entire household contents. The valuation and appraisal service comprises site visits, detailed inventory including photography, preparation of presentation disk and printed image copy.


We specialize in the finest restoration and conservation in our own workshops using only traditional handcraft methods. Exquisite reproduction commissions are also undertaken as replicas or replacement pieces for those lost or damaged beyond repair. Location

Interior Design

Having been in business for well over 100 years, the Bly family have vast experience of dealing in the finest furniture, paintings, tableware, works of art and objects d'art since the early 1800s. This history has given them unrivalled knowledge in designing and implementing period and contemporary room settings and interiors and the business is able to undertake international projects whilst continuing to provide the highest level of service to all clients.

From tables, chairs and sideboards to dumbwaiters and decanters for the dining room to four-poster beds, washstands and commodes for the bedroom.  Antique carpets and tapestries, room panelling and fireplaces, mirrors, period lighting and all decorative objects; pieces are sourced, purchased and set in place. 

The service, advising, consulting and procuring items can be separated or taken as a whole project. We also have professional carpet designers and makers, window dressing and soft furnishings specialists and interior and exterior lighting experts.”
