George III Period Mahogany Bookcase

A superb late 18th century mahogany glazed door bookcase, the upper section with pierced mahogany swan neck pediment with inset satinwood patterae over dentil and arched and finial cornice, above two glazed doors and adjustable shelves. The lower part with two short graduated drawers and two blind doors opening to reveal three linen slides. The drawer and door fronts with box wood stringing and crossbanding, the doors with satinwood quarter fan paterae inlaid. The whole on a moulded base and bracket feet.
