A magnificent and important Folio Cabinet of Goncalo Alvez. Illustrated double full page in “Gillows: London and Lancaster” by Susan E. Stuart. Formed as a centrepiece with horizontal dividers on one side and an arrangement book spines on the face. These are flanked by four beautifully carved columns below a sliding and rising adjustable top.
