      The only Georgian silver Square Decanter Stand we have ever handled, the lower part of the classic baluster body vertically lobed below an everted and spirally lobed border. The central silver boss to the turned wood base engraved with a figure of a mermaid, the crest of the O’Byrne family, immortalised in the song “Follow me up to Carlow”.
